50.00 Dollar US$ Black Role Models for Future Generations carlifornia
- Location: Carlifornia, New Carlifornia, carlifornia, carlifornia island, United States
INTRODUCTION
In American schools where Black History is taught, students only learn about certain historical figures such as Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King Jr, and Harriet Tubman. Studies have shown that Black History education is often inadequate, superficial, and misinterpreted.

Only a handful of states have mandated curriculums to ensure teachers discuss Black History subject matter, which is often limited specifically to Black History Month (February of every year).
As protests against racism and police brutality sweeps the nation, it is imperative to highlight the positive contributions of Black History to inspire future generations.
We want to unearth significant hidden figures and events of Black History and reveal them to the mainstream using an engaging, animated musical series.
Our goal is to empower everyone with valuable knowledge that will be transmitted and retained in the form of lyrics, through the power of inspirational stories. The retention will be as easy as reciting a catchy jingle. Remember the McDonalds Big Mac jingle? People can automatically recite it even though it's over 30 years old.
Each animated story will be about 3 minutes or less. The idea is to make History so interesting with the use of rhymes and visuals that children and adults of all ages could enjoy learning.
WHY AN ANIMATED SERIES?
Animated videos are psychologically appealing, one of the earliest (and possibly fondest) memories, as kids growing up, is watching cartoons.
There is something about moving images that appeals to the human brain, and this naturally extends to animated videos.
For example:
“Schoolhouse Rock!” first aired more than 45 years ago, the program educated generations of Americans on civics, history, math, science, and language. The premise of “Schoolhouse Rocks!” started with a simple idea: “lyrics are more memorable than facts and figures”.
WHAT WE AIM TO ACHIEVE
To showcase the contributions of African-Americans as a source of inspiration for all.
Make history much more memorable with catchy jingles and animated visuals.
Black History deserves to be a year-long subject matter rather than just one month in February.
Here is a sneak peek into our work and what we aim to achieve with this campaign.

"Black Role Models for Future Generations" is just the beginning. We are committed to highlighting all marginalized communities that make up the United States to inspire all Americans.
Risks And Challenges
Since the goal is to make history fun, the biggest challenge with this project will be creating memorable jingles. Another risk involved in managing the pipeline of animation creation is aligning it with the voice over and background music. Animation is a vast undertaking. A full feature animated film in Hollywood costs millions of dollars. We plan to achieve this at a fraction of the cost, but we are hopeful that with your support we will be able to hire some of the best talents out there to overcome these challenges.
